Mother

This poem is an attempt for all those who miss or really care for their mother. God is great and so is MOTHER.

Born with palm closed,
Nothing in your hand.
Unknown to the plan
Which the Almighty had planned.

Getting the first glimpse,
Glimpse of your mother,
Till the time you could understand and speak
You knew no other.

She taught you to respect,
She taught you prayers,
For every little thing you cried for
She was the one who wiped your tears.

Now, you are a grown up
With morals and principles which she had taught.
And your mother is old and tired.
But to help her, do you need a second thought!

All the riches you earned
With great efforts and the passing time
Are you forgetting in those glitters
The person who made you sublime!

She was the one who strove for you
Who made you believe in Destiny than Fate
Try your best to keep her happy
Before she diminishes in memories and before its too late.

The Photographer

Have you ever tried capturing a moment of joy with anybody? I am sure most of you did! I am grateful to Iraqi Arab scientist Ibn al-Haytham who gave a vision to invent cameras. Just imagine being alone away from your place and trying to recollect the good old memories you cherished. Somewhere in your closet getting your hands on a dusty old album and reliving the moments but in memories. It surely is a great feeling. I remember some of my friends yelling at me "Crazy , Freak" just for the reason that I use to sneak in with a click of my mobile phone camera as and when I got an opportunity. Now, looking at those moments I really feel glad I did that. Try doing it yourself and you'll be glad too I gurantee!

Gum(Sorrow)

This is an attempt for my first shayari, I hope you like it.

Zindagi mein rahon ka nahi
Palon ka kaafila hota hai
Gumon ko baat le aye dost
kyunki yeh ek pal tera
Toh kisi pal mera hota hai.
